Unusual and fantastic menu. Not just the same old pub grub stuff. Everything was delicious! Love the old brick wall(s) and bar area. I live 80 miles away and we will go back to Williamston, just to eat there.

We came, with reservations, after college graduation. We reserved seating for 6 and we're sat within minutes of arrival. The waitress was very attentive and brought appetizers, drinks, soup and salad, entrees, and dessert all at the perfect time. She was very friendly and welcoming. Even though yhe restaurant was extremely busy, she made our table feel like we were here only table. We ordered different items from the menu and the only "downside" was that the steak was a bit overcooked. I would highly recommend the Cajun Shrimp Pasta and the Truffle Fries. Both were a big hit at our table. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Where do we start, adorable old building, nice on inside. Great seating in two different sections. Unique bar, good staff, excellent server Katie!! Hard pressed to recall the last time we were so wonderfully waited on!! She was very attentive, prompt, provided suggestions for food.....Delicious food all around for our group of four, impressive menu and chef does a wonderful job. Definitely worth the extra cost. Will make the trek back, highly recommend, ask for Katie to be your server.

Dining in this historic building was such a delightful experience. I ordered the Meatloaf Tower with Carrot Ginger Bisque, and everything was fantastic. The soup was creamy, smooth, and full of flavor, while the meatloaf was tender and perfectly wrapped in bacon. Personally, I would’ve preferred a little less barbecue sauce to let the meatloaf’s natural flavor shine through, but it was still very tasty. A special shoutout to my waitress, Tori — she was incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Her excellent service made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I’d definitely come back again!

My boyfriend and I were on a little day trip to some antique stores in the area and I was excited to try this place since it has a ton of gluten free options. (Not just salads but actual alternatives like gluten free burger buns.) There's a dedicated menu for it which I really appreciated to see; so I don't have sort through all the items when trying to decide. I got the cherry harvest burger with house made chips and a pumpkin spice white russian. Our waitress (I think her name was Katie?) was so friendly and helpful. I knew this place would be a little pricey compared to the places we usually go but all of the food was amazing. You're not getting pre-made food ordered from Sysco or Gordon like so many other restaurants. Would definitely recommend and come here again!

Gluten free review! I did take out today as someone with celiac disease. The process of getting my order took slightly longer than expected but the waitress that handled my check out at the bar was kind. I got the black and blue beef and am SUPER impressed! The filet was cooked to perfection at the medium I requested and was incredibly tender. The cognac sauce complimented the roasted potatoes and sautéed snap peas. Would definitely recommend!

Stopped into 109 Tavern after a round of golf on Sunday—first time here and we were really impressed. Our server Jake was great and took good care of us. The food was really, really good, especially the chili—it was incredible. I liked it so much I ended up ordering a bowl to go. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been wanting to come here since I moved the area, and I can’t believe it took me so long!!! Emily was an amazing server. She helped me make up my mind on two items that were delicious AND GLUTEN FREE!!!! She’s super knowledgeable on gluten free for real life and within Tavern 109. I ate the Cherry Harvest burger on gluten free bun and it was so good. Even better warmed up the next day with melty goat cheese. They have gluten free soups, which is so rare. Highly recommend the carrot soup. I could have drank it, given the opportunity. I also got the Apple & Fig gluten free pizza. The visuals are stunning, the menu so unique, and service phenomenal. I’ll be back again and again!

We came to Tavern 109 for lunch just after opening. I had the beef tip salad. My wife had the 109 club sandwhich. Both of our meals were very good, with my salad pushing onto my favorites list. We each had one of the Captain Crunch Peanut Butter ale draft beers from Kuhnhenn breweries. Mild and delicious. Our waitress (I have forgotten her name) was very nice and did a wonderful job of providing beer choices and meal selections. 5 stars for food, and 5 stars for service, with 4 stars for atmosphere, That might be stingy on my part but, they had just opened their doors. Atmosphere was hard to judge. I would imagine during peak times a very nice atmosphere.
